007: First Light Game Reveals Big Brand Partners Like Coca-Cola and Aston Martin

IO Interactive recently revealed the big-name companies backing their new James Bond video game called 007: First Light. The Danish game studio shared on social media that nine major brands have joined the project: Aston Martin, Coca-Cola, Orlebar Brown, HermanMillerGaming, Jaguar, Range Rover Defender, Omega, Nvidia, and Leica.

This partnership makes perfect sense when you think about James Bond movies. These films have always featured luxury cars, expensive watches, and premium brands throughout their storylines. The game’s first trailer already showed us glimpses of what to expect, an Aston Martin DBS sports car, stylish Omega timepieces, and a Range Rover Defender. Interestingly, a Triumph motorcycle appeared in the trailer too, but the company isn’t officially listed among the partners. The same goes for Walther, the German manufacturer of Bond’s famous PPK pistol.

Nobody knows exactly how much money these companies paid to get their products featured in the game. However, we do know that product placement in Bond films generates millions of dollars in revenue, so these partnerships likely involve substantial financial agreements.

What We Know About the Game

007: First Light will launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC platforms. The game tells Bond’s origin story, following a young 26-year-old agent who just joined MI6. Players will experience his journey from rookie spy to earning the prestigious 00 designation.

The identity of the actor voicing Bond remains a mystery, though fans have been speculating based on clues from the trailer. IO Interactive has big plans for this project, hoping to create three separate Bond games if First Light succeeds.
