Square Enix has announced Killer Inn, a fresh murder mystery action game during Friday’s Summer Game Fest presentation. This new title brings an exciting twist to the social deduction genre.
How the Game Works
In each Killer Inn session, 24 players split into two distinct groups: “wolves” and “lambs.” The lambs must identify and eliminate all wolves, while the wolves try to eliminate the lambs. Players control human characters despite their animal designations.
The game features a clever clue system. When wolves eliminate a lamb, they leave behind evidence such as hair strands or clothing pieces. Lambs can collect and analyze these clues to help identify the wolves among them.
Release Information
Killer Inn will launch on PC, and Square Enix plans to release a closed beta testing phase in the near future. Interested players can register for beta access through the game’s official Steam page.
This title appears to offer a compelling alternative for players seeking a new social deduction experience, particularly those who enjoyed games like Among Us and want to explore similar gameplay with friends.
